My brother and I had a massive bonding session while I was making the card. Mainly because he wanted to do something creative too. So he drew a picture and stuck the love hearts that I stuck on the card I gave Manit all over the picture. He did that on both sides of the paper. Of course he got PVC glue on the floor when he turned the paper around to use the other side, but I managed to get it off without the parentals noticing lol.

He was very inquisitive about what I was making, and what I was using various crafty equipment I had layed out. And annoyingly when I was going to use them haha.
I made a single page card. On which I drew alternating red lines of roughly two different thicknesses in oil pastels. Then on the bottom right hand corner I pasted a red envelope out of tissue-y paper, which I constructed myself. I then poked holes along the side of the page, on the left side, where I fed red-spotted ribbon through and tied it. I also randomly tied the same ribbon into the top right corner. After that I stuck red love hearts cut out of felt paper, with a glued backing, all over. And they were of different sizes.

The roses really bugged me. I wanted to make them out of foil, but was not able too. Which really frustrated, mainly because I did not give up for hours and it just kept failing on me. The foil was too fragile. Then I had trouble with the roses altogether. I really needed someone to show me in person, not through youtube. That would have helped a lot! But obviously by that time (the day before Valentine's Day, close to 10pm) I was asking for too much lol. So I made rosebuds instead. Well actually what had happened was I thought I was making a rose, and I made one but it turned out that it was actually a rosebud that someone had labelled a rose. LIES!!
So I made rosebuds instead, because those instructions were easier to follow. I made three of them, and put wooden sticks up them and made them into a little bouquet.

Then on Valentine's Day, while I was at the mall thing near Strathfield Station I bought the Raffaello box from the Woolies before Prabpreet's 21st. I gave it all to Manit at Prabpreet's, which I was very glad fell on Valentine's Day. All in all this year's Valentine's Day was oarsum!! :)
