HOGWARTS LOVIN'

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is on the telly tonight. I wish it was real so bad. I mentioned this to a friend during the beginning of the movie as well.

❤ blurg says (8:30 PM):
i wish harry potter was real
i wanna have cool magical powers
and run into walls to get onto platforms

A little later after this I opened up the i can read blog. The second thing on the blog was a comment about going to Hogwarts. I couldn't stop laughing; I totally can relate.

SMELLS LIKE TEEN SPIRIT

So, now I'm 20. Old old 20.
After I had turned 19 and people asked me how old I was, I would always say 19. I don't recall having to think twice about it. But ever since I've turned 20. majority of the time I've been telling poeple I'm 19. And when I say it in my mind I don't think of it as if I haven't had my birthday. But more like I've recently celebrated my birthday, but on that day I turned 19. Not 20!
Yesterday it occured, but about 30 minutes after I replied I was 19 I realised I wasn't. The realisation was shocking. It had truely sank in in that minute that I was now 20. It's completely freaky by the way. I'm not all that of a fan of being 20 but I guess I'll get used to it.

BANDAGE AWESOMENESS

Found cute bandages at Incredible Things blog. A pack of 25 with various shaped moustaches that I would feel completely compelled to draw funny faces around whilst wearing them.
And also a pack of 25 bandages with "crime scene do not enter" are a total change from the usual nude coloured ones found at woolies. Even the blue ones at work don't seem to cut it compared to these.

Oh, and just found bling bandages, monster bandages, tatoo bandages, comic strip bandages (the sound effects found in comic strips like ouch, wham, etc). There are heaps to choose from, all very funky. Pretty much anything to suit anyone's personality. Loving this bandage choice (lol).

"Six Funny Life Lessons"

Lesson 1: Naked Wife

A man is getting into the shower just as his wife is finishing up her shower when the doorbell rings. The wife quickly wraps herself in a towel and runs downstairs. When she opens the door, there stands Bob, the next door neighbor. Before she says a word, Bob says, “I’ll give you $800 to drop that towel.” After thinking for a moment, the woman drops her towel and stands naked in front of Bob.

After a few seconds, Bob hands her $800 dollars and leaves. The woman wraps back up in the towel and goes back upstairs. When she gets to the bathroom, her husband asks,…

“Who was that?” “It was Bob the next door neighbor,” she replies. “Great!” the husband says, “Did he say anything about the $800 he owes me?”

Moral of the story:

If you share critical information pertaining to credit and risk with your shareholders in time, you may be in a position to prevent avoidable exposure.

RSA/RCG/BAR SKILLS

A few months ago (I think mid-June/July) I did my RSA, RCG and a short bar skills course. I just wanted to post up a short entry about approved training centres.

While I was first looking for places, I searched through multiple blogs and read other people's experiences with training centres. I came across a few stories of people who had gotten certificates from places that weren't even certified to be handing them out. I started getting worried about that because I didn't know what to look for to find out if they were certified or not.
Finally I came across this website of a list of RSA approved training centres, and figured that if they did training in RCG too the certified with be legit.

In the end I went to Alex Beaumont Hospitality Training College; in Sydney City and Parramatta. I paid $210 for all three as well.

BUILD YOUR OWN FASHION STATEMENT

Legos are probably one the best toys invented. What with the iniative we take to build whatever we want thanks to the inventors who wished to let us go nuts. Now we can take the next step in the lego lifeline by bringing the little blocks into everyday objects such as a pair of sunnies. These sunglasses allow us to build a lego stack on the sides of the frame, which is constructed of a block board.

  • Live And Let Die
  • The Man With The Golden Gun
  • The Spy Who Loved Me
  • Moonraker
  • For Your Eyes Only
  • Octopussy
  • A View To A Kill
  • The Living Daylights
  • Licence to Kill
  • GoldenEye
  • Tomorrow Never Dies
  • The World Is Not Enough
  • Die Another Day
